ScienceWithMe!® was founded in 2003 when Loghlen Rickard, aged 3, would ask his Mom, Elva O'Sullivan, to "Play With Me! Play With Me!" Elva didn't know what to do - after all she's a chemist and because she hadn't played with someone for nearly 30 years she had forgotten how to play! So she made up little experiments to do with Loghlen and he loved them. Soon, his plea of "Play With Me! Play With Me!" changed to "Science With Me! Science With Me! - and the rest, as they say, is history.
In her spare time, Elva likes to hangout with the 4 L's --- kids Loghlen, Luke, Leah and Licorice (dog) --- and hubby Scott, talk incessantly with her friends, Crossfit, read, travel and drink copious amounts of coffee.

Dr. Elva O'Sullivan's education includes a B.Sc.(Hons) in Chemistry from University College Dublin, Ireland and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Clarkson University, New York. In addition to her broad teaching experience, she has extensive applied industrial experience and has worked at W. R. Grace, Wyeth, American Cyanamid Company and BASF Corporation, the world's leading chemical company. She is a certified RESULTS® coach and a graduate of Corporate Coach University. She is currently the CEO of ScienceWithMe!® LLC.
